Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Aedion is furious to learn that Aelin and Lysandra made a pact for the latter to assume the former's identity. Is his anger at Lysandra warranted? Is Lysandra's perceived betrayal worse than Lorcan's?

Melissa (melissasd) | 194 comments I think his anger toward Lysandra is mainly out of shock. But at this point he should be used to being left out of Aelin's plans. He loves Lysandra and I think it pains him to see her make such a sacrifice for Aelin. Lysandra's perceived betrayal is no where close to Lorcan's.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I could definitely understand his shock and anger at Lysandra, especially considering she would have been willing to maintain the pretense and seduce him as Aelin in order to have children. There is something really icky about that...

To my mind, Lorcan's actions are actually not as bad as Lysandra. His betrayal resulted from his desire to protect the woman he loved and Aelin is not someone he particularly cares for. On the other hand, Lysandra was willing to betray the man she loves for Aelin.
