Sylvia I think that a theme of this novel is identity. I think this because the main character, “A”, turns into a different person each day. Each day they have to adapt to the person’s life that they are borrowing, and be that person for a day. A doesn’t really have their own identity, but when they are in the body of someone else, what they do never quite matches what the actual person would do. So, they technically do have their own way of being, but not their own person. There are many ways in which this theme develops throughout the novel. At the very beginning of the book, it is hard to tell what is going on. “I wake up. Immediately have to figure out who I am.” (p. 1) When I read it I thought it was metaphorical, but as the book proceeds, you figure out that they actually wake up as a different person every day.

MisskTarsis I think the theme was the love. How you love THE PERSON, who they are, not how they look. She loves him, although he have not a his own body. She loves his soul.

Sherry It's been a while since I gave this book a read, and in all honesty a bit of it's contents are a blur in my memory. I agree with Tarsis with the theme of the book, as in the end it is also a conflict that happens when A inhabits the body of a young girl. This brings complications to the romance, but the two together question a lot.

In all honestly I wanted to know more about the souls and who A exactly is. I also wanted to know if there is others like him. They have another book to the series, but sadly it's just a POV from the female leads view.
