Ziggy wrote: "...Worst Way to Get The Plot Started. award Uncle Quentin forgets he needs to go out of town for work, the 4 kids and dog can’t stay in the house by themselves because the cook is out for two weeks. The soloution send 4 kids and dog by themselves on a biking trip through the English countryside sleeping in tents by themselves. Yep that is safer than staying home by themselves."

✅ Gathering Blue - Best WOW effect Award
- just finished this book and the feeling I am left with is... oh, you guessed it 😉

2 books read so far and the awards are as followed:
~ The Meanest Farmers as presented by my son to Boggis, Bunce and Bean from Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl. He absolutely loved this book as our daily read aloud. Brought back fond memories of my own childhood and having the same story read to me.
~ The Most Heartbreaking storyline I've read so far presented to The Good Mother by Sinéad Moriarty. It is such a beautifully written story about such a tragic and horrific thing to ever happen to a family. It also touched on a taboo subject in such a beautiful way. Would definitely recommend (but also recommend a huge box of tissues)

We're rolling out the red carpet and getting our gladrags on! It's time for a very special awards ceremony where you choose the categories and the winners.
For every book you read during this quarterly challenge, you must give an award to each one. The award can be for anything you like from the serious such as best setting or most historically accurate, to the light-hearted such as best character with blond hair or best relationship. If you want, you can also award the worst books with categories like most tropes used or biggest plot hole.
Once you've completed your challenge, there's one final award to give: best book of the quarter which will go to the book you've rated highest.
Lindsay will be leading this challenge. Thank you :)
