I have 32 books that I've read but not reviewed.
I'm reading 2 more NetGalley books right now and hopefully will have read a total of 4 in October
Haha Kirby - I think we all go a little crazy adding books sometimes! I’m glad you’re enjoying it

I like your creepy pic, Karen!

Nice, Vicky!

I have one book on my shelf and am currently reading it. I am looking forward to increasing my NetGalley reads.

I had said I would only request if it was a fave author and a book I was going to buy anyway so it's all totally fine :/ Plus Kagawa's book was Read Now so I had to get it.
If anyone is interested Robin Talley's new book

An Anonymous Girl

I really liked it. I had been looking forward to this one because I absolutely loved the first one they wrote. (There are 2 authors, but I don't know how they work together.)

I also got a widget for The Mother-in-Law, which I plan to accept. I loved the last book I read by Sally Hepworth and it doesn't publish until April 23rd, 2019 so i have plenty of time to review.
So, adding two:

Kristie wrote: "I just saw that The Nowhere Child was put back on NetGalley prior to the US release (January 22nd). I was excited because I'd been watching for it. I requested it yesterday and got ..."
Hooray!
And I love Hepworth! They sent me a widget for her last book, but I don't seem to have one for the new one :(
I've requested it and will cross my fingers

Request denied :( apparently they are only offering it to Canada and USA. I guess they want to give her more of an international presence. I’ll just have to get it from the library
I think I may even just email the publisher from the widget they sent me last time and quietly beg
LOL

Well done Michelle!
Oh that’s a shame Kristie 😦 I did see that book but didn’t request it because I’m on a self imposed WWII ban 😂

lol! I don't blame you. There seems to be an awful lot of them out there.
I'm afraid I didn't read any in October. I did start one on Sunday, but it is a U which works better for wheelathon next week, so I've put it aside for now :o
November I want to get through at least 3

I reviewed two, but added 3 and I just got a widget for one I may still add. I was hoping to finish at least one more, but the end of the month snuck up on me.
That’s pretty good Kristie. ! Mine are all getting so old. I don’t have many but they really need to be read soon 😉

There is a possibility my shelf is going to dramatically increase in the next couple of hours though as I've just noticed all of the Darynda Jones books are read now with the exception of the latest (which is request). I've already picked up the first book (it's a series I've always wanted to read) so if someone could talk me down from the other 11 that would be great.

Feed Your Readers, the NetGalley Challenge
Duration: Monthly
How to Participate:
The NetGalley Challenge is designed to not only get you to read your NetGalley books, but to also advertise your reviews for others to see because after all, that's what NetGalley is all about.
Though you may pop in/out at any time, the NetGalley Challenge will run on a monthly basis so you are able to see progress being made.
1. At the beginning of the month, post any/all of the following:
a: How many books on your NetGalley shelf
b: What books are on your NG shelf
c: What your Netgalley feedback ratio is
2. During the month, read the NetGalley books that you can AND update your post with your reviews. (You can do this after each book or wait until the end of the month.)
3. At the end of the month, update your post and with:
a: What books you read
b: Link(s) to your review(s)**
c: Your updated shelf count
d: Your updated books to read
e: Your updated ratio
Then start a new post for the next month!
Do you ever get so caught up in your reading that you don't want to stop to write your reviews?
Thinking about that, it was decided we need a "Review Weekend", once each month, set aside to write those reviews you've been not doing in favor of reading!
Review Weekends will vary randomly each month and is meant to be a time set aside to review. Take one, or both days and get caught up on reviews so you can spend the rest of the month reading!!
The next Review Weekend is set for October 20/21
**When linking your reviews, please link only to the book(s) here at GoodReads. At this time, linking to a personal blog is not allowed. Thank you!
