What are some writing experiences you, as a writer, are willing to share? Why do you write is a certain area? Or how much do you general write? Have you tried racing against the time to improve your writing speed? Are there certain habits you follow before, during, and after writing? What mood do you stay in when you begin writing a story?

Anyone ever keep an writing schedule? I been trying to do this myself, and it's a bit of a challenge:)

For me, I seem to come up with these random thoughts at random times, and proof a story is formed. I think my ideas come to me when I am thinking about other things. I heard that other authors and students listen to music while they write. I do too. Music doesn't really help me as far as coming up with ideas. I mean music acts as more of background noises while I think
