Umm both... I'm writin this story right now called In And Out Of Focus and it's really deep, basically there are four main characters and they each have a bunch of problems...
Their names are Jo, Neo, Marshall, and Xena, and I relate to each of them in different ways. Neo is probably the most like me. He loves helping people but has struggling faith in God, and he has a sort of supernatural disease thing where it takes over him and makes him do bad things, which is basically like giving into temptation. He is also a huge optimist.
He falls in love wit this girl Jo, who is very, very religious and faithful and stuff, an he learns from her, but her dad has a drinking problem and is sick because it's starting to kill him through his liver. Her mom left when her dad started to get sick so she's been supporting her whole family and working her butt off to get money. She's super poor. She's angry a lot of the time and sees the hipocracy and corruption of the world, and she is very anti-mainstream.
I believe a lot of the same stuff as her but I'm not usually angry. When I am I'm like her.
Marshall is just a very lonely person... He gets rejected by Xena and that's where his problems come from.
That's like me because I'm really scared of rejection and it usually happens to me- most of my love is unrequited.
And Xena is a bisexual with a heroin addiction. It's very scary. She is very secure about her sexuality but very insecure in other ways, she has very low self-esteem and only has Neo as her friend. She hates carin about people because she wants to not care or get attached to anything. This is like me when I'm momentarily insecure.

Your story sounds very interesting. I'm already finding myself relating to Xena with her not wanting to get too deep with anyone. Would you say that you have aspects about your characters that are negative and that are ones that you discovered you have?
Thank you :) yes. All my characters have flaws. They all have problems and these problems have made them depressed, lonely, insecure, and unhappy. But they find love and acceptance through each other and become okay. This is a journey that a lot of people go through, including me. And I have a lot of things in common with these characters.
^ i have some of these flaws/traits but they come out when I am out of my comfort zone.
I'm glad that you have shared your characters with us. If you need a reader, I'll be more than happy to read your story when it's finished. It sounds inspirational.
thank you :) ha when I finish it... Idk if that will ever even happen
I know that feeling of writing. I'm myself am having my doubts of when to finish.:) That's what we are here for: to encourage our members to continue to write. If you want we could do a sit and write for a certain time limit and see who has the most written until we finish our book.
That would be cool... But see I can only write this story on the computer because my writing style changes when I'm not on the computer, and my parents blocked my computer so I'm only allowed on at certain times.
Mmm, no problem when I make the thread. You can post when you are on and we can go from there. My book is on my computer as well, and my computer keeps freezing, but I'm dealing with that. We can hopefully get started on this and hopefully doing a little each day or whenever will help us finish our projects sounds good?
