This is the discussion thread for our Quarterly Irish Read for October to December 2018.

I started this a couple days ago and so far I love it ,It is the perfect read for October ,

I finished this novel at the end of last month and really enjoyed it . It was the perfect read for October . I am curious what might happen next, he left it up to speculation .

I agree it's a great read for this season, alongside The Raven and Wuthering Heights!

I just finished this and I rated it three stars. Good but not great. I might have liked it more had it not reminded me so much of Turn of the Screw.

I have never read The Turn of the Screw but I looked it up and it does seem similar . I found The Turn of the Screw on kindle for free so I'm curious how I will like it compared to This House is Haunted
