colleen the convivial curmudgeon (blackrose13) | 2976 comments I'm about to start my first spooky read of the season, The Dead Path. I'm further behind on my planned spooky reading than I would've liked, but I got sidetracked with Dreadnought and The Long-Lost Home.

Also have Heart-Shaped Box on hold.

Speaking of holds, I put Lethal White on hold just now and I'm number 123... so I'll be getting to that sometime late next year! o_O

Nyssa | 2023 comments After what feels like an eternity, I am reading for pleasure for the first time in too many months. I started Furies of Calderon (Codex Alera #1), by Jim Butcher.

I’m only a few pages in but wanted to stop by to say “Hi”.

Jackie (thenightowl) As usual, I'm behind in updating my GR shelf but I did read Changes (Dresden #12), which was absolutely awesome. Then I had to switch gears and read Dune for book club. Finished that one last night. Now, I get to go back to Dresden and read Ghost Story (#13). After that, I'm not sure. Depends how my feelings are and if I need to go into the next Dresden book.

Greg | 201 comments Finished reading The Technician - reasonably good (if longish) sci-fi - today and started reading Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World for a change of format.

Greg | 201 comments Finished Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World in which I learned about the existence of Casa Lomas - an Edwardian mansion in Toronto that is often used for movie and TV productions. Also read the MG ebook, 8th Grade Fugitive, which was really just a long short story that seemed to be aimed more at fourth/fifth graders than 8th graders.
