Hey everyone!

I wanted to get some opinions on whether we'd like to do a read-along challenge. Essentially, we pick a book to read every month (like a book club) and we open up a thread to chat about it as we read or finish it.

Super casual! I'd also take suggestions and do polls on what to read next, since I definitely don't want to make the executive decision on what everyone should read.

Let me know your thoughts!

Ellen | 1 comments I love this idea! I just started The Phantom Tree this morning, so that gets my vote :-)

Critterbee❇ (critterbee) | 251 comments I like the idea! Group read, voting on the book, it is all good.

I have found some really good books through group reads, that I might not have read on my own.

Ensorcelled | 1 comments Realistically I'll probably only manage 4 or 6 books but I am still excited for it!

Allison Henle | 1 comments I probably won't make all the months when school is in session, but I think it's a terrific idea and I'll try to participate as often as possible.

No worries to those who pick and choose when to participate! You definitely don't have to commit to reading an entire year.

For those who didn't see, we currently have a Google Form up to give us reading suggestions! I believe it only allows for three suggestions at time, but you should be able to fill it out multiple times.

Laure | 0 comments I love this idea! I've always wanted to do a book club, but they seem to typically meet when I'm busy doing story/bedtime with my little kids...

The flexibility built in with the read-along-challenge seems perfect!
