-socks are good!! I love weird socks in theory, but I am for function. I usyally do not sleep with socks unless I am cold. I confine myself to brown wool socks for cold weather and white socks for hotter weather.

-made breakfast at 5am after staying up all night chatting. again, i am boring

-his nam is mr.bison, i got him at yellowstone in third grade. it looks like a bison, and he presides a corner of my bed.

-i do!! i love letter writing, and i loooove stamps/ cute letters/ pens/ etc.

-i have a gold chain with a jade pendant i wear everyday. I got it through my grandmother on one of her trips to Hong Kong. Mainly, I don't take it off because it's a S hook closure and can break if you take it off often.

Thanksgiving break is almost over, and honestly I'm glad. Without the rigor of schoolwork, I feel so gross and lazy. Although I hate work when i have it, haha. I finished my essay about Jungian archetypes and whatever today, so that was good. Finals are coming though....

I also applied for a job, so let's hope I get it! One of my friends is a hostess, and that seemed easy enough to do. I could never be a waitress... dealing with rude people coupled with my weak arms? I would not last.

Ah I wish, only $9 per hr. But it’s nice to work on my own time and it’s pretty lowkey. I’ve only been doing like 2hrs a week, so I highkey wish there was more todo. I (tbh) bs-ed my way in saying I knew how to do website stuff and your girl is most definitely technologically inept. I was supposed to be strictly a website manager, but now I do product research and all sorts of stuff. But my boss was thinking of sending me some lip gloss to give my intial reaction. (which is why i applied ngl) the glosses look super glittery, so i suggested she did a glitter free range. like glitter is good if you’re in middle school i guess

also the aesthetic is “boujee” which i have no idea of... the site is black and pink? personally i’d go with something more tasteful but that’s not the aesthetic 😂

on the bright side i did find an apartment roomie & a pet friendly apartment close to campus!!

i saw endgame on saturday and sunday and i dont think i was emotionally prepared to see it two days in a row. honestly, the plot was predictable and i feel like bucky was cheated. also, the ending for cap is so... meh. so underwhelming, i feel like it was the perfect ending if you were a casual marvel fan vs an intense one.

also, apartment update!! i found a cute lil’ condo close to uni/ a uni bus stop that will not be rat-infested (hopefully) & within budget. and in-unit laundry!! and a small garage so i can store my bike!! no yard, but i gave up on that a long time ago lol. I’ll be moving in August, so I’m only stuck in uni summer housing for July.

Also, I think No Scrubs would be my theme song/ Myspace song. Like u really don’t want to put up with trash SOs when you’re content being single, you know?? Like, men these days are all over-grown babies. I don’t want to be a mother, I have my own stuff to deal with 😂😂 and tragically, i don’t think i am lesbian (yet?? idk.)

yuhhhh i just created my fall schedule and it is SO nice

i don't have class wednesday or friday, monday i only have class from 10-12:45, and on tuesday/ thursday i have class from 8:30 (eep) - 3:45 but i have a three hour gap between the first two classes and my last one of the day ! and i have one hybrid course and one online course, so that should make things easier. also, i have two profs (art history + micro) that ppl raved about on ratemyprofessor.com. feeling so blessed rn, ngl, but let's see how i feel when i have to be on campus by 8am lol

i have also decided to devote Wednesday to meal prep, hw, and exercise bc i am a nerd lol

today i spent a good hour in target and only emerged with one of those orbeez odor neutralizer things. i'm so proud of my self control (& maybe the fact that i only have a cool $20 in my checking account helps lolllll)

the 8 am thing might be rough omg. i don’t take any classes before 11 am because parking is shitty on campus and you gotta do laps around the lot for an hour before finding a spot

also for ur 3 hour break you might be able to find some cool stuff to do on campus, I don’t know how big your university is but i found this lounge covered in pride flags that’s nicknamed the “gay room” where i chill between classes

also if ur campus has a college radio station they might let u DJ when ur bored on that 3 hour break. ( or you could study in the library like normal people do :/ but the libraries on my campus are always ugly busy and the one that’s not-crowded has a jamba juice and i’m always tempted?)

ugh my library looks like. so gross. even tho most of the buildings are v nice and new (like 5 yrs old for most). i think i might end up studying at the student affairs building, they have these cool wingback chairs. also ill be taking a bus to campus so parking will not be a problem lol

i think this mainlander dude was weirdly flirting with me?? he was like "o yeah im taking differential calculus for fun" and i replied along the lines of "uh weird, but ok man". he also mentioned how the only real chinese ppl are mainlanders lol. also when i mentioned joining the chinese student association, he replied "oh , i should join to meet some hot asian ladies" quoi le merde monsieur. also i remember this dude from orientation who was somehow staying in my suite walked around in nothing but boxers and his binder ((may have just been a cropped tank, but i think it was a binder)). sir u are making me uncomfortable please CLOTHE YOURSELF, i am a virtuous CHRISTIAN WOMAN (i say, as a jew lol)

on another note, my french is gonna be so bad once i take it again in like two yrs, all i know after six years is frickin bonjour and the present tense. also i booked myself a facial before i move ($50, idk they had facials that cheap) and now i am regretting bc what if they just straight up diss my skin lol. also uber is rlly expensive and i wish my dumb city with millions actually had transportation instead of dumb hipsters who are actually trust fund babies in disguise. also i have no money so why do i even justify "treat yo self!!" bc i have no monies to actually, ahem, treat myself. more like "check yo self, solidly middle class girl with absolutely no money who is floundering in student debt"

how will i handle a job, 16+ hrs of uni, and a dog?? with no car??

like i know i have public transport, that’s why im renting this one condo, but like... i feel like things might be easier w/ a car (that i most definitely cannot afford lol) . And i’m terrified of leaving my dog for more than 8 hrs. We are honestly co-dependent. Like i have class 10-3 monday and 8:30-4 tues and thursday, but what if the work study i havent even applied for yet schedules me super long hrs on wednesday/ Friday??

And im braving downtown’s transit this friday and im terrified of getting lost !!

I should do yoga/ballet more often bc i just stretched before bed. And my lower back popped rlly loudly. Oops!
