I was happy to see Brienne and Pod stumble across one another, although they only just set that in motion so it will interesting to see how it goes. Poor Pod, so sad and lost that Tyrion left without him.
I enjoyed seeing from Jaime's perspective, and have a feeling that will be the case throughout the book. Cersei is a piece of work! I think we all knew that though :)
Asha's chapter was interesting, she certainly is a strong character and is both ambitious and realistic (noticing who came to support and also those who did not). I can't wait to see the kingmoot!
It's refreshing that there is a reoccuring theme throughout this book about women going for the power positions. Cersei, Asha, Arianne and even Mrycella via Arianne. I was actually surprized that Arianne wasn't imprisoned alongside her sisters and cousins.
I am confused as to how the chapters are titled. Like why is Asha's "The Kraken's Daughter" and Arys "The Soiled Knight". They give some context, and judge-y context at that. Plus it is confusing.
Continuing to enjoy this one, likely the most of the books so far! Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on the chapters.
