The Crispin Museum becomes the focus when a centuries old mummy turns out to be a modern day murder victim. We learn a lot about the mummification process as a result. Did you find it interesting and educational or too much detail for the story?

Melissa (melissasd) | 194 comments I loved all the information. I found all it very interesting. I didn't know there were different ways to mummify a body.

I did, too, Melissa. At first I thought it would get over my head but, together with the religious lore, it was fascinating.

Melissa (melissasd) | 194 comments I'm huge archaeology nut and I love anything Egyptian, so this book was right up my alley.

Christina T (crysteena73) | 180 comments I actually loved the mummification information. I didn't realize there was more than one type of mummification either. I don't gravitate towards books with religious undertones or themes but Egyptian themes, I absolutely love.
