Has anyone watched the TV series, The Expanse? If so, how does the book compare to it? (No spoilers about the TV series please.)

Have watched the series. But didn’t have time to get a lot of the book done. Series is really good

I watched the first episode. I haven’t watched further. (My husband wanted to watch and read the books first). I was told it takes the first 2 seasons to reach the end of book 1. The one episode I watched matched very well from the beginning of the book.

I'll have to checkout the TV series. I like that they pace themselves from the book's material.
