Hi everybody, new member to this group and I'm hoping someone may be able to help.
I read a book a few years ago and can't for the life of me remember the title or who wrote it. Bit of a long shot I know.
The book is concerned with a simulated reality. The lead is a college Professor who can't remember his past. There is an eccentric millionaire who starves himself to death, a mass suicide from the golden gate bridge and other strange phenomenon.
I think it starts and ends with scientists looking at the AI simulation experiments that they are running.
Apologies for the terrible description and poor memory.
