10.2. Take a Walk on the Wild Side
Read a book with "adventure" as a main page genre. This list may give you some ideas. As always, use the list with caution - just because someone added it to this list, does not mean that adventure is a main page genre, or that the book meets SRC requirements. Popular Adventure Books.

You need to look at the genres listed on the main page of the book - if adventure is there, that's a start. If "childrens" is also there, you'll need to check it on the AR site, according to the rules on childrens books. See Rules of the Challenge

Cynthia (Bingeing On Books) (bingeingonbooks) will do. thanks

Cynthia (Bingeing On Books) (bingeingonbooks) Thanks for the clarification. Looks like it won't fit under the children's book rules. I did find another book though and it looks like that one will work: Scarlet

yes, it will work, assuming you're planning to read the "real" Tom Sawyer - I just looked it up -
IL: MG+ - BL: 8.1 - AR Pts: 12.0

Since it's MG+, it doesn't matter about the other numbers, but they're high enough as well.

When you look up a classic book like this, make sure you're looking at the correct edition. I noticed that for Tom Sawyer, there were a lot of books by other people, seemed to be little kid versions of it or of some parts of it.

actually, both books work for either task, since 20.7 allows the use of series titles! And both have adventure as a genre. You're covered all across the board!
