Cheyenne, this is a reread for me but it's been like ten years since I read Twilight so I've probably forgotten a lot.

Leah is going to join us too. We are planning to start either tonight or tomorrow.

Preface-Chapter 6:
I had forgotten about a lot of this. A lot of this takes place at school. Also, a lot of chatting.

I'm up to Chapter 6


(view spoiler)[Re-reading is always nice because you forget things. A lot of the stuff happens differently than I remember. Still not a fan of the people she "hangs" out with. I do remember that Angela is likable. (hide spoiler)]

I had also forgotten (view spoiler)[ how much of this story takes place at school. I think Mike is pretty annoying. Why can't he just tell Bella he likes her instead of being rude to everyone who tries to talk to her? (hide spoiler)]

It drives me crazy (view spoiler)[ how bad Bella is at sports! I mean, why can't she do a single sport without hurting someone or falling down a thousand times? Seriously, no one is that bad at sports! Or at least I've never met anyone like that. (hide spoiler)]

I must say that Forks sounds (view spoiler)[ like an awful place to live. All that rain. I would be miserable, lol. (hide spoiler)]

I'm up to Chapter 12.


(view spoiler)[I feel bad for Bella. Having all those guys like her. Although, I'm not sure why. I like Bella but nothing about her is that special. (hide spoiler)]

I like rain, but I would hate to live somewhere that got that much snow.

Chapters 7-12:
More of the same. This has a bit more excitement. (view spoiler)[I liked the hike through the woods and that they aren't hiding their relationship. I didn't like Mike's behavior or the way Bella treated him. She should've handled that differently. Also, I didn't like the almost attack in Port Angeles, but I did like that Edward and Bella finally talked things through. (hide spoiler)]

I just got home from visiting my grandmother! I plan on starting it tonight though.

Chapters 13-18:
Baseball and meetings. I liked the baseball chapter. I was disappointed in the way it turned out. (view spoiler)[Although, the Cullens met some new vampires. One is a hunter who's trying to kill Bella, which is unfortunate. (hide spoiler)]

I'm up to Chapter 18.


(view spoiler)[It was nice that the family meeting went well. A little different than I remembered though. The whole riding on his back while he flies would scare me badly. Now that we are getting ready for the big showdown things should get more interesting. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 19-Epilogue:
This has a happy ending. (view spoiler)[I'm glad that Edward was able to suck the venom out of Bella, but it was weird that she tried to get him to change her at prom. (hide spoiler)]

Bella (view spoiler)[So far I think she's kind of funny, which suprised me. How much she's swooning over Edward is..expected, but it comes across different from the movies. It's hasn't bothered me, it's just something i noticed. (hide spoiler)]

Bella & Sports - (view spoiler)[I'm pretty clumsy, so I can't talk much (I almost slipped on some rocks going to check my grandma's mail while I was there) but I concur with Katriann. I've never seen someone be so bad at sports because of clumsiness lol (hide spoiler)]

Forks - (view spoiler)[Idk. I love the rain, so theoretically I would like it there, but I've never experienced a constant barrage of it either. (hide spoiler)]

I've got a lot of books I'm trying to finish up before the end of the month/year. So I'm trying not to spend too much time on one book.

I agree with Hannah. (view spoiler)[ There is nothing so special about Bella that all those boys should like her. Also, I didn't really like the way she used Jacob to find out things about the Cullens. (hide spoiler)]

I also like it that (view spoiler)[ Bella and Edward aren't hiding their relationship. I feel like some of Bella's friends are pretty rude to her about all these boy issues. Either they're angry because Edward pays atrention to her or then they're jealous about some other guys. Angela seems to be the only one who doesn't mind boys liking Bella. (hide spoiler)]

I'm surprised I still (view spoiler)[ liked this a lot. I was sure I would find Bella extremely annoying. Granted, she is a bit too obsessed with Edward for my taste, and Edward is too controlling, but I still liked the story. (hide spoiler)]

I'm not a big fan of (view spoiler)[ Bella's obsession to become a vampire. If I remember right it gets annoying later in the series. I guess I can see why she would want that, though. Her whole world seems to revolve around Edward, so maybe it's hard for her to see the perks of being human. (hide spoiler)]

I really like the Cullen family. (view spoiler)[ They seem very nice, and I like how they welcomed Bella dedpite her being human. (hide spoiler)]

I'm glad that you still liked it. Like you I wasn't sure either.

12 chapters in. Sorry I'm behind. My apartment had inspections and I was busy with that for a couple of days.

Mike - (view spoiler)[I like Mike. I think he's a nice guy,
but people aren't stupid and he has to know that Bella doesn't like him. Also she set him with Jessica. And even though he's taking Jessica out and seems to like her too, he's still, if subtlety, going for Bella I think. (hide spoiler)]

I like (view spoiler)[Bella's loyalty to her truck. And that part where he was nervous with her driving was funny. (hide spoiler)]

That's okay, Cheyenne. I got a lot of reading done when I flew to Norway and back.

Lol. I knew it happened fast, I've seen the movies, but still when it actually happened it was still shocking. Insta love comes across differently in movies and books lol.

And really, there's not really a reason to be at this point. Other than (view spoiler)[him saving her life,
being a vampire and paying attention to her with the dazzling and smouldering. And not killing her. (hide spoiler)]

But I'm still really liking it, even if it doesnt sound like it lol.

Prom - (view spoiler)[I thought that bit was pretty funny with Jacob. I could only imagine how cringe worthy he must have felt relaying his dads message. I liked how Bella reacted to him and the situation. (hide spoiler)]

Bella & Vampirism - (view spoiler)[So shes a little consumed with Edward. Edward likewise is with her. So being that way its kinf of natural for her to want to immediately want to be a vampire, right? I don't see it so much as her having no or little regard for her human life, but that she simply loves him so much.

I haven't seen (view spoiler)[ the movies, so I can't really compare the characters. Maybe I should watch them one day. I've just somehow always assumed that they're not very good. Lol. (hide spoiler)]

Yes, I guess Bella (view spoiler)[ being a teenager and so in love with Edward would make her want to become a vampire. I suppose growing older while Edward stays the same could horrify the 17-year-old Bella. And of course Bella becoming a vampire would allow them to be together forever, which must be appealing to her too. (hide spoiler)]
