Sara | 19 comments 1.) I liked the cover a lot the way that they show the characters on their home planets like they are looking at one another but not.
2.)I liked Cara she was her own person and refused to cave into peer pressure.
3.) I thought that was very interesting how that was used within the plot on a larger scale in that because they were of an entirely different species and the prejudice that came about as a result.
4.) I liked that part and how true a lot of what in terms of our own environmental issues.
5.) I liked the Human/Alien exchange students program was interesting and how Cara and Alex interacted with one another each unsure of the motives of the other. It did remind me a bit of the X-Files which is one of my favorite shows that was a definite plus.
6.) I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys science fiction

1. I really loved the cover of the book, and I think it suited the book well. It illustrated the differences in Aelyx and Cara's different worlds, so to speak.

2. I liked Cara a great deal. She wasn't a cutesy, idiotic YA cookie-cutter heroine. She was very strong-willed and caring, and I liked that a lot.

3. I think it was a neat concept to have the alien exchange program, and I really liked the...dilemma...that Landers created for the characters. Even though it dealt with aliens, they were still typical teenagers.

4. I always appreciate books that deal with environmental issues, as long as they aren't heavy-handed. It's something that readers need to be thinking about.

5. All the kids were brats, to be honest. So, I guess I think it was realistic.

6. I've recommended it to several people at the library!
