Sean and Zahra have a harrowing escape from the cabin trying to elude the terrorist. What worked/didn’t work about that scene? Were you able to visualize it?

Laura The grand finale didn't work for me.
I thought the device was a bomb and I kept waiting for an explosion. Also the chase in the woods in the dark was far fetched in that there was a lot of shooting with bullets hitting their mark. Especially Zahra. I thought she was afraid of guns and has never handled a gun before. But yet she was able to shoot him with one shot. I also thought the communication was shut down but they were using their phones out there.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I thought "What the What?" Why are they going after them with their "Secret Weapon", they are just not that important. That weapon could have been better used parked outside the NSA. That issue aside, I liked the chase through the dark woods with Zahra stepping up and making a difference.

I really loved these scenes. I knew it wasn’t a bomb and had figured out it was something that would affect the power grid just from their behaviors. If it was a bomb, they would have had to handle it with much more care than they did. So, from the beginning I knew they’d be fighting isolation.

The chase scene was riveting and I thought Cross did a good job of describing what was going on. I had no problem visualizing what was going on and loved how Zahra took on Amir. He was close and she got a body shot, which makes sense. Yes, she was afraid of guns but her fear for Sean and her own life overpowered that fear.

Anita, the device didn’t have a long range and there’s no way they’d get close enough to NSA to effect them. But, to your point, they could have really wreaked havoc at an airport. It would have made a bigger statement but also would have been easier to trace. They didn’t count on Sean & Zahra surviving or the device being taken.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments I agree they weren't planning of Sean & Zahra surviving. They also planned to retrieve the device and use it again. This was a trial run, more or less. Still, I think is was a waste to use it out in the middle of nowhere.

If they really want to take down the Titanium term, they have got to quit sending untrained zealots with more fire than brains.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 7669 comments Mod
Lol! They send those zealots because it’s a 99% chance it will be a suicide mission.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments Exactly! The guys with training are smarter than that!

Karen ♐ (kmk1214) | 101 comments I think this was a trial mission too. There wasn't enough potential gain for it to be the main mission. I really enjoyed these scenes and thought they played out well. I could imagine Zahra not knowing how to shoot but being so afraid for Sean that she just forged ahead.
