Finished first book, is the 2nd worth it?

I really really enjoyed the first book of the series! The 5th Wave was a very clever and well laid-out story. The only in my opinion was that the end fell a little rushed. That being said, I feel like I can't wait to read The Infinite Sea but the reviews that I have read are making me have second thoughts. No spoilers please, do you guys believe it's worth reading the 2nd book?

I read the entire series and completely loved it. I guess it depends on what you enjoyed about the first book. For me, I really liked the characters and mostly Rick Yancey's writing. Since I was invested in the characters, their stories mattered to me and I was able to enjoy all three books. In my opinion, they're definitely worth the read!
