What were your favorite books of the Fall 2018 Challenge?

Louise | 226 comments One book I really loved was Blue Asylum. I wouldn’t have know about it if it hadn’t been for the challenge. I also really enjoyed The Truth About Animals: Stoned Sloths, Lovelorn Hippos, and Other Tales from the Wild Side of Wildlife.

Bea I had twelve 5* reads in 2018. These were the ones that stood out to me:
A Walk Across the Sun
Hidden Wives
The Nightingale
Still Alice
Salt to the Sea
Lilac Girls

I really enjoyed The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society too. I loved them reviewing books and authors. They made me laugh. It's funny, because I watched the movie and loved it in a completely different way - such a difficult book to adapt to the screen but they just took one thread and focused there. All they could do really.

Kettleen | 65 comments My three absolute favourite books were:
The Alice Network by Kate Quinn
Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie
and Lovecraft Country by Matt Ruff.

Very different books but reading so many in a short time I think I'm starting to see that WWII, science fiction and fantasy might really be the central pillars of my reading comfort zones. It definitely would have taken me years to find these books, if ever, without the challenge though.
