Thx! Swipe them, they keep the columns and rows lined up, which pleases me :p

I have, I guess! ^-^
One was short; one was a listen, a re-read; three were compulsively readable! *grin*

So for now, B5, I4, N3, G2, O1 are slotted with:

B5. One Corpse Too Many, by Ellis Peters
I4. The Girl Who Drank the Moon, by Kelly Barnhill (Newbery book)
N3. The Girl Who Drank the Moon, by B.C. Dee (picture book)
G2. Saint Peter's Fair, by Ellis Peters
O1. The Chimes, by Charles Dickens
... giving me my first (of 13 possible) level one bingos :). I can see books get moved around alot throughout the year, so I don't know how the board will end the year, but for right now:
(1 of 13) Level One Bingo, Five-In-A-Row, diagonal:
(view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

So silly the delight lining them all up in a row was. With a picture book in the free space, it really made me giggle. I coulda swapped the free space for one of the other books, but it cracked me up.
lol

B1: Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe
O1: The Chimes by Charles Dickens
B5: One Corpse Too Many by Ellis Peters
O5: The Martian by Andy Weir
... giving me my second (of 13 possible) level one bingos :). I can see books get moved around alot throughout the year, so I don't know how the board will end the year, but for right now:
(2 of 13) Level One Bingo, Four Corners: Mark off the four outside corners of the Bingo board:
(view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Swapping out one of the Cadfael's brings my total number of books read, but not in the Bingo Board, to five:
Not In Bingo Board
Beowulf (for kids, Kevin Crossley-Holland, 1999, Charles Keeping (Illustrator))
The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders (Heritage Press hardback)
Moll Flanders (Signet Classics paperback)
Moll Flanders (Penguin Classics paperback)
One Corpse Too Many
I thought about putting the Beowulf for kids, or the third Cadfael in place of the picture book for the "Free Space", but it still makes me giggle having it in the middle, so there it stays (for now, I have another I have in mind to put there, when I finish the book).
I had originally intended to slot Murder ... in the 'Classic Play' slot, but unbeknownst to me, until I was reading the author bio, T.S. Eliot was a Nobel Laureate. So, since slotting it there gave me a third bingo, that's where I put the book :).

B1: Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe
I2: Zodiac by Neal Stephenson
N3: The Girl Who Drank the Moon by B.C. Dee
G4: Murder in the Cathedral by T.S. Eliot
O5: The Martian by Andy Weir
... giving me my third (of 13 possible) level one bingos - an also an "X"! (which is not a bingo :-p) :). I can see books get moved around a lot throughout the year, so I don't know how the board will end the year, but for right now:
(3 of 13) Level One Bingo, Five-In-A-Row, diagonal:
(view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
Oh My! This comes very close to doing math, and I don't do math. lol. I am having as much fun watching your board as I am filling mine.
You do know that you put a big old "X" on your Bingo card. It looks like a word search puzzle, :)

I do know about the "X". It made me giggle :D
LOL I like the word search puzzle .... yup, I can see it now

edit - hm. I'm reading I1 right now (Maltese Falcon), anyone got a good comedy or satire for O3? :D
(edit x 2 ... maybe Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court! Always wanted to read that one ... )

I ended up swapping out the picture book I'd had in the center spot for "Free Space", adding in a new book (Thomas Becket: Warrior, Priest, Rebel, by John Guy) because I really loved that book, more than the picture book made me giggle to have it in there ;-). I had originally intended to eventually swap out the picture book for a different book, but Thomas Becket: Warrior, Priest, Rebel won out over that one, too. ;-)
The other swap moved The Girl Who Drank the Moon back to B2 "Book Chosen By the Cover", and adding into the space cleared, I4 "Literary Prize of your country", a book by Colum McCann, which won several awards, among them the National Book Award for 2009. The book is Let the Great World Spin.
Besides Thomas Becket: Warrior, Priest, Rebel, and Let the Great World Spin, the other three new adds in are:
- The Maltese Falcon, by Dashiell Hammett in spot "I1 Book from the Group’s Bookshelf Prior to 2019"
- Beowulf, translated by Kevin Crossley-Holland, introduced by Bruce Mitchell in spot "N4 Poetry or Essay Collection". I've read three unabridged 'grown-up' translations of Beowulf so far, and so far, this one is my favorite of the unabridged versions. I still have a few more I'm reading, tho, so we'll see :).
- The Adventures of Brother Arcadius and Pangur Ban: 11 Tales, by Margaret Nagel in spot "N2: Short Story Collection".
Swapping out one of the picture book brings my total number of books read, but not in the Bingo Board, to thirteen:
Not In Bingo Board
Beowulf (paperback, for kids, Kevin Crossley-Holland, 1999, Charles Keeping (Illustrator) )
Beowulf (graphic novel, Gareth Hinds)
Beowulf (kindle, Rebsamen translation)
Beowulf the Warrior (hardcover, for kids, Ian Serraillier, Severin (Illustrator) )
Beowulf: A Translation and Commentary (Tolkien translation)
Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders, The (Heritage Press hardback)
Beowulf (hardcover, for kids, Michael Morpurgo, Michael Foreman (Illustrator) )
Girl Who Drank the Moon, The (rhyming picture book)
Kid Beowulf: The Blood-Bound Oath (#1)
Maltese Falcon, The (audiobook CD)
Moll Flanders (Signet Classics paperback)
Moll Flanders (Penguin Classics paperback)
One Corpse Too Many
(4 of 13) Level One Bingo, Five-In-A-Row, horizontal across "the 2s":
B2: Book Chosen by the Cover - The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill
I2: New-to-You Author - Zodiac by Neal Stephenson
N2: Short Story Collection - The Adventures of Brother Arcadius and Pangur Ban: 11 Tales by Margaret Nagel
G2: Classic By a Female Author - Saint Peter's Fair by Ellis Peters
O2: Classic Sci-fi or Fantasy - The Children of Men by P.D. James
... giving me my fourth (of 13 possible) level one bingos :). I can see books get moved around a lot throughout the year, so I don't know how the board will end the year, but for right now:

Katy wrote: "Classics Bingo 2019 (view spoiler)[
The goal is to focus your reading on literary classics.
Read a classic that fits the description of a square. You may NOT count the same book twice for different categories in this challenge. Each book can be applied to only one square, even if it fulfills the requirements of multiple squares. All books read to mark off squares must be finished in 2019.
Level One Bingo
Four Corners: Mark off the four outside corners of the Bingo board.
Five-in-a-Row: Mark off five squares in a row. This can be done horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
Level Two Bingo
Small Box: Mark off all the 9 inner squares of the board (including the free square), leaving blank the 16 outside border squares.
Level Three Bingo
Outside Box: Mark off all 16 of the outer squares, leaving blank the 9 inner squares.
Level Four Bingo
Blackout! Mark off all the squares of the board. " (hide spoiler)]
