Located underneath the Lagoon of Tears, the Cave of Legends’s existence is unknown to all but the sirens who protect its entrance. Even if one were to get past the sirens, he would need to be able to hold his breath long enough to swim to the pocket of air provided by the cave. It is about fifty feet underneath the surface of the lagoon, and there’s really only one go at it.

One either succeeds in entering the cave, or he dies trying.

If one were fortunate enough to make it past the watery depths and the sirens that drag them past Davy Jones’s locker, they would find a cavern illuminated by glow worms speckling the walls like the stars they used to navigate to the island. If one were to venture further into the caves, he’d find himself enshrouded by an ominous darkness no flame could quell.

"Only with the being of that which cannot be killed,
mingled with the blood of ten sirens under seven cycles of Polaris’s light,
can one hope to quench the hunger of the darkness within.”

This riddle tells of the only solution to the oppressive darkness within the cave. Knowledge of the answer is unknown to all, however, translated, it means:

The bones of the original pirate lords or any physical remains of the Mouri powdered into a canister of the blood of ten sirens’ blood and seven nights worth of absorbing the light of the moon is the only way to dispel the darkness.

The Elixir of Life is located at the deepest point of the cave, where there’s an impasse and none can go farther. From the ceiling hang stalactites and from the ground rise stalagmites. One particular stalactite drains a single drop of lagoon water from above, concentrated with the properties of the moonlight and with the blood of its victims, every night. That drop of solution falls into a concealed basin where the Elixir has had hundreds of years to accumulate and fully absorb the magical properties of the moon.

However, there is only enough for two persons. If one were to split the Elixir, for every additional person, the effectiveness of the solution to allow its drinker to evade the clutches of Death gets reduced by a fourth. Decisions, decisions—will it end it a stalemate or will greed overtake all?
