Can't recommend this enough. It's a fantastic beginning to a new series. Very much an Urban Fantasy type book. Loved the world, the adventures. The story-telling is pretty darn good. It's also well-edited - very, very few typos, correct word-usage, verb-usage, etc. (Can't gripe enough about poorly edited stories). I'm not very good at giving descriptive reviews. Just that this was an entertaining new fantasy novel in an interesting world. If you liked Black Dog Blues (Kai Gracen series) by Rhys Ford or Coyote's Creed by Vaughn R. Demont, then you'll love it for sure.
