Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This challenge is based on one posted by Joanne way back in 2013. Thanks to a message posted by Karen, we're giving it a fresh look. I hope you enjoy this version of the challenge.

Here's how it works:
Below is a list of 30 tasks to help you dwindle your WTR. You choose the number of tasks you would like to do, as well as the number of books you would like to read for each task. For example: You may choose to do tasks 1, 2 and 3, and you may choose to read three books for each one of those three tasks (for a total of nine books).

A book can only be used once for this challenge.

TASKS:
1. Read a book by your favorite author
2. Read a book that is next in a series you already started
3. Read a book that is first in a series you have been meaning to read
4. Read a standalone book you wanted to read

Nope - not silly. Either way works for me, Denise. (Mine book for this task will probably be a Cotton Malone --character -- book because I just love that guy!).

Will that work?

Barb, it's okay to mix and match it however you like. So if you want to read 2 books for one task, and then 1 book for another, I'm good with it.

Does that help?

I had to scrounge through GR recs (I've read some, won't read some until I get to it, and flat out won't read some at all lol), but it was still something I'd been wanting to read. And when I looked it up on Amazon for using in another challenge, I saw that it was a freebie I'd won from the author in a contest.

Lois Lane I’all start with 5.

10. Read a book from your favorite genre.—Born
11. Read a book that was recommended to you.
20. Read a book that has been on your WTR list for two years.
27. Read a book of your choice from your WTR.
28. Read a book from your WTR written by a female author.

Beth (jasonverlander) | 13 comments Is there a difference between Read the last book on your WTR list and Read the most recently added book on your WTR list?

Since I'm doing 5 of each, I just did the 5 most recently additions to the last book on WTR list, so should I move those to most recently added? and then the next batch of 5 would be last book?

message 37: by jingles (new)

jingles | 3483 comments Mod
Probably not. To me, the last two books on your WTR would cover those tasks. So if you are reading five books each...you would use the last 10 books on your WTR (five for one task and five for the other)...but they would still be the last books (and therefore, your most recent) added to your WTR.

Does that help?

Beth (jasonverlander) | 13 comments Yep! I thought that's how it would be, but I wanted to make sure :D
