What can I say?
It was really fun to continue with the series.
At first I was really intrigued by the plot, who were the Dream Thieves? and then it all made more sense.
I still believe that the best of this series are the characters, I love Blue and Gansey.
I couldn't stand Adam for most of the book.
And Ronan totally stole the spotlight.

What can I say?
This was nothing as I expected, but it was a pretty interesting read. Also it has some important lessons, about judging people by their appariences and their origin.
I think Mary Shelley did a tremendous work with this story.
My favorite part was getting to know the Monster.

I loved this book!
I loved the relationship between Sadie and Lara. I really enjoyed the romance, and how much Lara grows with the experience of getting to know Sadie and helping her so she can move on. They both helped the other moving on, actually.
And I absolutely rejoiced with Lara giving Uncle Bill what he deserved.

Totally would recommend.

I didn't know that some of the jews or prisoners at Auschwitz worked for the nazis, like in offices or against their own people. The Tattooist of Auschwitz, show me what some of the prisoners in the concentration camps where capable of doing to survive, and in this case, how he tried to help the other prisoners with his position.
This wasn't as heartbreaking as other books I've read about the holocaust, I guess it was because Lale had an advantage position at the camp.
Either way, it's hard to know this is a real story, and that Lale and Gita were real people.

This was a beautiful book, it really made me think about how we treat our pets and the love they give us unconditionally.

Of course there were sad parts, but over all it was a feel good book.

This wasn't exactly what I was expecting, it was a weird read, but I really enjoyed it. Over all it was a beautiful book about unconditional love, about suffering and about grieve.
I enjoyed Ted's way of seeing things, it was pretty funny at times too.
But I was a little confused at times, specially because I didn't always knew what was really happening, what was true and what wasn't, I was weirded out.
Anyways, I loved Ted and Lily's relationship, and at the end I felt calm.

I like this book, although it is always difficult for me to explain what it is about.
It is a book that is difficult to get hooked on, but once you know Gatsby's motivation, everything changes, you see the characters in a different way and, at least I can not help but judge them.
Finally, it is a tragedy, I still remember that the first time I read it, the end was really hard for me, this time, I absorbed it more and in fact, it makes one think, how much importance we give to some things.

I'm not a fan of this story, but it was entertaining.
It has some typical flaws from YA literature, like the relationship betwen the MC and his parents.

I'm not super interested in following the series, but I think I will eventually.

This was like reading a movie, it doesn't surprise me why they made it into one.
Samantha re-lives her last day 6 times, until she gets why that is happening, she evolves as a person through this experience and I loved to see that.
It was like seeing the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

It was an ok book.

How it fits: A book in which a character uses a disguise or a false/fake identity - Cándido impersonate Aslan by using a lion's disguise

Review in spanish

Pages: 223
What can I say?
I've always loved Narnia, the first time I read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe I was 11 years old, and completely fell in love with this world.
This 7th book is the end, and at the same time, the beggining to all the characters we got to know and love from the previous books.
At the beggining it's super frustrating and sad, Truco, the monkey is just despicable and don't make me talk about the Calormene. How they deceive the narnians is cruel and it made me feel so powerless.
In this book you can note how religious this story has been, specially once Aslan finally appears.

I want to note, that in this book, you can also clearly note the racism from the author, and some machismo
Narnia books aren't perfect, but I love them so much.

This one was heartbreaking, I hated seeing Vianne fraternize with the enemy and all the sacrifices she had to made through the german occupation of her town.
But, she was so brave, I know Isabelle was more hardcore than Vianne, but Vianne had the germans in her own house and she managed to do her part to fight the war. That was awesome!!

Isabelle was incredible, I was amaze with all that she did through the war, but I didn't like the people she treated with, except for her mom's old friend.

I know these aren't true stories, but, I know that they're based on real people, like Irena Sendler

I loved the book, and that makes it more difficult to review it haha.

This book was very strange.

In its entirety the book has been really interesting, many times I was lost with what was happening, as the transitions were not always right for me, you did not always know what was a dream and what was "reality", but the whole thing of no knowing how dreams were going to affect each timeline had me intrigued.

The characters in this book are terrible, you can't trust even one of them, and as you read you have to choose what to believe, you have to doubt everything, how much does Stephanie and Sean really know? Emily is super convincing, she confused me at times.

I think what interested me most was reading Emily's personal story, and when reading from her point of view is when reading was faster and easier, the truth is that reading Stephanie made me a little mad.

I think this is one of those occasions where the movie was better than the book.
It was ok.

What can I say?
I watched the TV series first and I loved it, I thought it was super interesting and illustrative.
The book wasn't a dissapointment, and it was super graphic, the author didn't keep to herself anything.
Also, as you read, yo get to learn about how was prenatal care only a couple of decades ago, and how much it has evolved.

I highly recommend it.

I had a great time reading about Ally and Arthur the Genie. Arthur was so awkward at the beggining, being him from the XIII century.
And Ally was such a stubborn main character, but I enjoyed them both. I loved the way they interact with each other and how everything turned out, even if it was pretty obvious hahaha.

But I liked the scenes from WWI and how everything turned out.

What can I say?
I had never read a Japanese author before, although they've been really popular in recent years.
What I did have was an idea of what a Japanese writer's style would look like, I thought it would be introspective, with a lot of reflection and observation of the world, cotideaneity, spirituality and how these two things relate.
Lagartija was exactly that for me.
