Read the haunting of hill house. Great book👍 I’ll check the other 2 out!

Literally everything by Dennis Lehane, but if I had to narrow it down...

Mystic River
Darkness, Take My Hand (the whole series is exceptional, but this one really stayed with me)

And by Agatha Christie, I would suggest The Moving Finger.
