I created the "Both Pol. and Ethical Philosophy" folder today. This folder is reserved for topics relevant to both political and ethical philosophy. I had to abbreviate "Political" to "Pol." in the folder name, because Goodreads limits folder titles to 32 characters.

For example, Spinoza wrote substantial works on both political and ethical philosophy. Accordingly, I have placed the "Spinoza" topic in this "Both Pol. and Ethical Philosophy" folder.

Where a philosopher's major work is primarily in either political philosophy or ethics, I have placed the topic for that philosopher in either the "Political Philosophy" or "Ethics" folder, respectively. Where the philosopher wrote substantially in both fields, the corresponding topic for the philosopher will be placed in this "Both Pol. and Ethical Philosophy" folder. The exceptions are Plato and Aristotle, for whom I have created separate topics for each in both the "Political Philosophy" and "Ethics" folders. Because, however, Plato's dialogues often, if not usually, contain reflections on both political and ethical philosophy, the topic on him in the "Political Philosophy" folder often extends to both political and ethical philosophy.

In view of the folder changes I have made today, I have reassigned some of the previously existing topics to more appropriate folders.
