I'm considering The Name of the Wind or The Fifth Season

I got The Name of the Wind in a book exchange on Reddit like 5 years ago. I started it, and then we moved houses and I promptly lost the book, and it took me forever to find it again. I still haven't restarted it, so this might be the encouragement I need! I like fantasy-type books, but don't really read them because they have too much detail, so this is definitely outside my normal genre of reading.

Victoria Schmidt Little Moments of Love. I've never read a graphic novel before.

Susan Hunnicutt-Balman | 1 comments Here is an idea for anyone who does not read Fantasy/Science Fiction: The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen. The first book of a triology. Had no idea what to expect as I only chose it because I liked the title (and fantasy). And, not even sure at first if I was going to like it but then, that Book Magic happened and I was drawn in and began living in the story. The setting seemed a bit Game of Thrones-ish but, there is an intriguing twist on the setting as the story unfolds which took me by surprise. I listened to this on an audiobook that I had interlibrary-loaned at the library. Excellent reader!

Maria Tereza Hunt | 3 comments I don’t like fantasy but I started reading Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi.

I have read the fifth season... wonderful. I don't normally read crime fiction, but my not usual genre book is The Whistler by John Grisham... can't put it down, a page turner and highly recommended.

Amanda | 4 comments I just finished The Hazel Wood. It was surprisingly good. I don't normally read fantasy.
