Thank you for setting up a fresh one! My current read is The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay.
Random question but is anyone else have issues with the update not displaying next to the book on their home page?

I thought it was just me.

It's also not allowing us to mark our older threads unimportant so that they'll drop down. Please bear with us as we try to deal with these "Updates."

Power of the Dog is excellent Char! I'm a few days away from finishing it. Hope you enjoy it!

Have you read The Hatching?"
Yup. Hoping this book is more like The Hatching, which was intense, and not Zero Day, which just fizzled out.

James Glieck—The Information
David McCullough—John Adams
George Saunders—Lincoln in the Bardo (audio version)
Edgar Rice Burroughs—The Son of Tarzan (audio version)
Charles Dickens—A Christmas Carol (audio version)
Mary Roberts Rinehart—The Circular Staircase (audio version)

I went looking for that one at my local, GIANT bookstore and they had sold out! Looks like great minds think alike lol

I am enjoying

I'm also reading

I'm now reading Shadow of The Fox

I decided to read Bird Box because I saw the movie was on Netflix. I wanted to make sure that I read the book first, because an acquaintance who saw the movie said that it was terrible. So, Chris, did you read the book first, and still say the movie was excellent?

I came close to giving up early on this one, as it starts off so weird and hard to wrap your head around. I've stuck with it, and the story has picked up and gotten a bit humorous, but I gotta say, this one is feeling like a highly overrated book that I just don't get the love for it. And there's nothing "horror" about it, as I always was led to believe it was. It's just weird dark fiction.

That was my favorite read of 2017. I'm glad you're sticking with it.
