GR seems to be glitching badly this morning. Hopefully it all gets straighened out quickly.

Yes, I had to update my book status through the app.

I thought it was just me.

Not only is the status not showing, but all my updates for the book up to that point disappeared.

It's also not allowing us to mark our older threads unimportant so that they'll drop down. Please bear with us as we try to deal with these "Updates."

Yup. Hoping this book is more like The Hatching, which was intense, and not Zero Day, which just fizzled out.

I went looking for that one at my local, GIANT bookstore and they had sold out! Looks like great minds think alike lol

I just finished Memoirs of a Geisha and now I have started NOSA42

I ended up ditching -it just wasn't working for me.

I am enjoying . I'm listening to it on audio and the narrator is kicking ass!

I'm also reading which I'm enjoying so far.

Started on The Winter People while I patiently wait for book 2 in The Passage series to get here.

I finished re reading NOS4A2 and I started so I'll finally know more about Manx.
I also started

I started Chad Lutzke's The Same Deep Water as You. It's pretty short so I'll probably finish later.

I decided to read Bird Box because I saw the movie was on Netflix. I wanted to make sure that I read the book first, because an acquaintance who saw the movie said that it was terrible. So, Chris, did you read the book first, and still say the movie was excellent?

The Library at Mount Char

I came close to giving up early on this one, as it starts off so weird and hard to wrap your head around. I've stuck with it, and the story has picked up and gotten a bit humorous, but I gotta say, this one is feeling like a highly overrated book that I just don't get the love for it. And there's nothing "horror" about it, as I always was led to believe it was. It's just weird dark fiction.

That was my favorite read of 2017. I'm glad you're sticking with it.
