The romance was also one of things I loved about this book, but I really didn't feel like the story quite lived up to the first one. First of all I couldn't understand why Adrian pushed Nova away for so long. I get that he felt rejected after what happened in the first book, but Nova put herself out there repeatedly and he showed no interest. Then he seemed to just suddenly care about her again when it became convenient to the plot. Don't get me wrong I loved the story and I thought Adrian and Nova were really sweet, I just felt underwhelmed after the first book. I feel like the characters she established in the original book were completely different in this sequel. Adrian seemed very wrapped up in his alter ego and I just couldn't relate to him like I did in the first book. Originally, he just wanted to help people, but in this book it seemed like he cared more about the Sentinel than anything else. I do plan on reading the final book in the trilogy, and I'm hoping that it'll live up to the rest of the series. Despite some of the problems I had with the story I do think it was a good read and I recommend it to everyone else. What did you think? Do you agree with or do you have your own opinion on the story?

I feel like he his reasons for hiding so long don't hold up completely, and it became hard to believe after a point.
I just finished the book! I'm not entirely sure how satisfied I am with where it ended, but I did really enjoy it and gave it 4 stars.

I loved Renegades and Archenemies!! I want the last book eo I can finally see how everything plays out
