Anji | 735 comments I love this idea so much that I 'stole' it last year, Chelsea and am doing so again this year! I did manage to complete it in 2018 (by being a little liberal with some of the more challenging letters!) but not sure if I'll manage it this year.

I sometimes cut off the first words when they are things like ''the'' to get extra letters done as well. I got the idea from other clubs here on Goodreads and borrowed them to apply here. Congratulations for finishing it last year and good luck with this year!

Dana (danarlynn) | 61 comments Chelsea...I probably shouldn't say anything, but I was tickled to see you had listed The Colonel's Timely Bride. That's my book. Is it okay to post that here?

Yes, and I loved reading it! If you look at my master list at the top you'll see I actually read it twice this year because I also read it aloud to my Mum who is also a huge Colonel Fitzwilliam fan.

Wow, Dana! Didn't realise you'd published an Austenesque story. I've just grabbed myself a copy. As a committed sci-fi geek, I'm a sucker for anything that has elements of both and I love the time-travel/timeslip sub-genre in Austenesque fiction.

I see your alphabet challenge is coming along nicely, Chelsea. I've managed to complete my story title one by taking a few liberties with the, shall we say, more challemging letters! I'm also working on an author name alphabet one which is still a WIP.

I have really enjoyed the few Austenesque time travel books I have read as well. Congratulations on completing your story title alphabet challenge and good luck with your author name author challenge!

I bought during the Austen Variations Summer Sale and after reading the preview here I immediately knew I wanted to read it right away.

There are a lot of great books in it but $10 a month is a little steep a price for me considering I have such a great library nearby and already own soo many books that I haven't read yet. But with the sale I got I am putting my other reading aside to try and take as much advantage of it while I can and read as many KU books as I can.

Hopefully they will make it worldwide soon or come up with something comparable.
