Oohh have fun Renee!
Quick question- One book I am considering reading is a victorian era mystery where the mc's are a married couple, and she is a midwife. Would that count for nedicine, or does it need to be a bigger part of the story?

Thanks Renee! It was in a pile of books a coworker gave me, along with another mystery I am going to use for this challenge as the MC is an ADA. She really helped me out lol!
Haha, yes! She gave me about 30 books, and another coworker gave me 3 boxes full, about 250 books! I made out that day haha!!
I think I need to know more about the character, Michele. Spies & Con Artists have made a career out of subterfuge.
For religion, the book I am considering has the MC as a high priestess of vampire religion. Would that count?
Vampire Religion??? How intriguing!
I think, yes. It sounds like the vampires within the world-building have developed their own culture and religion.

I think I’m going to leave it up to you, Michelle. I tried to do a little online research, and don’t see much con artist in Dortmunder. But I haven’t read the books so it’s kinda gray. If it’s like an Oceans Eleven or The Italian Affair style heist then I’d say definitely. But it’s totally your call.
Thanks Renee, they basicly worship Nyx, the greek goddess of night, but have thier own way of doing it. Hopefully this one is good, its the same author who wrote House Of Night, which started good but went down hill after book 5 or 6
FINISHED! This was fun, but I’m not going to go for another round. I’ll pick up a different challenge instead. :)
Also, I’ll update with the Extra Credit if I can find the right book.

If we're talking about deadish and dead, then

Oh, but

Woo hoo, this was a fun treasure hunt!

Yes, I love mixing board games with books! To me, it's like a treasure hunt!

Ms. Scarlet : Lawyer. ....... may be stretching it but the author is a Lawyer... The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
Col. Mustard: Military........Never Quit by Jimmy Settle
Nurse White: Medical.......Dr. Death by Wonderly. This actually a podcast, and I'm so glad I didn't know the story before my surgery.
Rev. Green: Religion....... Born Survivors by Wendy Holden. Now this might not be a religious book for some, more spiritual, it's so had to understand how this came about, and we never, ever want to see anything like this ever again.
Prof. Plum: Business..... Astoria: John Jacob Astor and Thomas Jefferson's Lost Pacific Empire: A Story of Wealth, Ambition, and Survival by Peter Stark
Sgt. Grey: Law Enforcement...... Bloody Genius by John Sandford
Mr. Brown : Spy or Con Artist........ The Good Liar by Nicholas Searle. Saw the movie after reading the book, book was okay but hard to follow until the end. Movie left out a lot of the book, think I liked the movie a little bit better.
Mr.Black : A dead body at the beginning.......The Girl in the Ice by Ribert Byndra
