Dangerous Hero Addict Support Group discussion

Hello, DHASG Fam!

I'm looking for some feedback on what kinds of yearly challenges you'd like to have on the group. I have some ideas percolating, but it would be helpful to see which challenges you like and want to see offered again.

Also if you have other ideas, feel free to post here! I want to try to have the challenges up and running by this weekend. Of course they will be backdated to January 1st.

I really liked the "reading trough the genres" challenge. I found it a good way to vary and discover new reading material :)

in another group we do a Clean out your to-read shelf" challenge for only books on your to-read shelf that were published before XXXX year. It is kinda fun to clear out some that have been on the shelf!

Hi all :-) I like the Cover Love Challenge. And I like the ‘Paranormal Dangerous Heroes’ in the DHASG Mega-Challenge, mainly because it really connects me back to my dangerous hero roots which was with reading novels wih paranormal dangerous heroes!

I'll second the Cover Love challenge!

Hi CC, can you list some more qualifications for your idea? If you're interested, you can create the challenge in this folder, or just post your thoughts here and I'll create it. Thanks!

I enjoyed the cover challenge, I picked a couple of books based on their covers alone and found new authors to enjoy.

How about just a challenge to read in 2025, no matter if it’s about a dangerous bad boy, mystery, etc.

It’s hard for me to find books to read. Storytelling is not like it was years ago. I miss the times when a book had me glued to it and it was hard to put down. These days too many books are Hallmark Stories, about how good the hero is supposed to be in bed, old lovers reuniting. Many books today have a hero and heroine that doesn’t have chemistry and forced into a relationship, because they are the hero and heroine.

I want good stories. I want books that will hold my attention.
