Laura L Meinecke | 25 comments I am going to read George, and I'm quite looking forward to it. I'm pre-reading it so I know when the right time is to share it with my 6 yo son.

Brittany (brittburkard) | 66 comments I picked up The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue not knowing much about it and was pleasantly surprised by the story line and the fact that it fit a prompt! I can't wait to get the chance to dig into the sequel, The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy.

Laura L Meinecke | 25 comments I finished George this weekend and it was such a wonderful story. Being a middle grades novel it was of course light; but it was spot on for the intended audience. I found myself smiling and rooting for George, there was anticipation and excitement. I read it so I would know when to read it to/with my son (6). In a few years he will be ready for it - of note, readers should read Charlotte's Web first; it have heavy presence in the storyline.

Nikki (mnnikki) | 164 comments I read The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily Danforth for this category. Tough to read but glad I did. My only complaint is that I felt there were a lot of uncompleted story lines but I think the book would have ended up too long had they all been wrapped up.

Laura | 18 comments I read both Boy, Erased by Garrard Conley and The Miseducation of Cameron Post, but CP takes place in Montana, so I’m counting that one for the book that takes place in your state.
