Greg | 201 comments Just thought people might want to record what they read last month before going on to say what they're reading this month!

The only book I completed in December was Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, which was a four-star read for me. It's easy to see how popular this series of books is!

Most of my other reading during the month was in the form of short fiction across a range of (mainly online) magazines/podcasts and an anthology I have yet to finish (The Pan Book of Horror Stories). The magazines/podcasts include: Jenny #15, Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine (November/December 2018), Horror Sleaze Trash (1 & 4 December 2018), Don't Flinch (podcast - pilot episode), Trembling With Fear (25 Nov. & 9 Dec., 2018 - the latter includes a drabble by yours truly), 600 Second Saga (podcast - 5 Dec. 2018), Jump Point (Spring 2018), Matchbook (December 2018), MoonPark Review #4 & #5, Heavy Feather Review #7, Monsters Out of the Closet (podcast, ep. 14), The Grey Rooms (podcast, ep. PRE1-Room #221), New Scientist (22/29 December 2018) and a comic - 2000 AD, prog 2075.

In terms of non-fiction, I also finished reading William Gibson's collection of essays, Distrust That Particular Flavor.

Chris Haught (haughtc) | 2450 comments I read and reviewed Never Die for the author, an eARC for a great book coming out later this month.

Also did a review of Song for Grimdark Magazine, now that I'm a part of their review team: https://www.grimdarkmagazine.com/revi...

Nyssa | 2023 comments I was about to say - Not a damn thing! But then I realized I did get one comic collection in there: Lumberjanes, Vol. 1: Beware the Kitten Holy.

Sadly, I wasn't able to read the other collections, as was my initial December plan. I do hope to give the series another go at some point.
