Here we'll post books on which are based features and TV shows that will be in our cinemas or on TV this year.

January / February / March / April / May / June
July / August / September / October / November / December

If you would like to give special attention** to a particular book with a movie or a show mentioned below, the easiest way to notify us would be right here. Our discussion board is messy enough :)

** We'll add it to our bookshelf and create a special thread for it. One book per month. If there would be an interest for two or more books in the same month, we'll add the first in that month and the others in the next ones.

The Silence looks a lot like A Quiet Place... Then again, the book is written in 2015 and this movie was greenlit before the latter one... I am confused. So many accolades for originality and now it appears A Quiet Place wasn't original at all. It was just the first. And without any credits to the writer, at least for inspiration.

Indeed, it sounds tempting :) Are you planning to read it? If you would like to, I can put it beside our next book of August (still to be determined).

Lore (delhilainthecabin) | 165 comments Yup, its on my priority list! Nos4a2 was really good too (the tv series) but since I've already watched it, the Rook tempts me more to find out what happens. Only chapter 1 aired.

Yes I wish I knew for this adaptation before, I would've added it to our QR list for October. I still do not mind Scary Stories though :)
