Fantasy Buddy Reads discussion

I have two goals this year; 1. Read books that I own rather than buying new books. 2. Try and read books I've owned for more than a year.

I own a ridiculous amount of both physical and ebook books so only those will count for this challenge. New Purchases and books borrowed from friends and the library/ Scribd do not count.

I didn't keep it up to date on the tracker but I think it was about 111/ 129 so almost all of them were books i owned physically or on kindle. I'm super happy with this!

I've just done a large update, 49 so far this year!

Nice job Charlie! Totally understand about the Library! I'm in the same vote. I own a crazy amount of books (a lot of them unread lol) but I still end up at the library. I'd definitely be in trouble if a new library opened.

A new library recently opened just across from my house! It's so hard not to go in and take ALL THE BOOKS.

I've hit 50! A lot of these were re-reads but still, they count!

Nice job with the 50 books, re-reads totally count! I'm probably going to be doing the same thing, once a few years go by it's nice to revisit some of the books I loved or forgot about.

It's definitely a great feeling to re-read old favourites. The Mercy Thompson series that I've just re-read, I realised that I re-read it at the same time last year too. May must be a month my brain likes for re-reads.

8 of the 25 books I've read so far this year have been rereads of old favourites and I've been really loving the experience. In previous years I've tried to keep rereads to a minimum since I felt guilty with all the new books I had on my shelves but this year I just thought screw it and I haven't regretted it.

Even though the majority have been re-reads, I'm to 57 and it's only June so I'm pretty pleased!
