Pretty self explanatory - find a book where a character shares your name.

Katrina Slayton | 25 comments I found a cool one for this prompt.
"The Spellbook of Katrina Van Tassel" a sleepy hollow story, by Alyssa Palomloo. LOL...I was shocked to find a book with the name Katrina that didn't have anything to do with the hurricane.

Heidi (heidi_naw) | 2 comments Mine is pretty easy - I should re-read Heidi with my kids this year :)

Jean | 11 comments If anyone has any recommendations for a book with a Jean let me know. All I can think of is Jean and Johnny and I read that almost weekly for a year growing up I'm not really digging reading it again.

If you happen to enjoy comics, or want to try one, Marvel's X-Men has a character named Jean Grey whose superhero name is Pheonix! She has an interesting story. 😍

Jean | 11 comments I do know Jean Grey. I think it might be impossible to grow up in the 80s and 90s with the name jean and not know lol. People have been "nicknaming" me jean grey for most of my life lol. Though I tend to be more of a DC girl I have always liked X-Men, it was the thing in the back of my mind, if I couldn't find a book I would pick a X-Men graphic novel. But thank you! :)

Brittany (brittburkard) | 66 comments The only one I can find so far is a teen romance, Perfect Chemistry, not my thing but I might try it out.

Otherwise I already read Fat Girl Walking: Sex, Food, Love, and Being Comfortable in Your Skin...Every Inch of It by Brittany Gibbons which was a fun read but darn it I read it last year. 😂

I have such a common name but I can never find it in literature.

Laura L Meinecke | 25 comments So, being a Laura....I read lots of Little House when I was a kid. I'm a bit passed that! Having a hard time with this one.

Nikki (mnnikki) | 164 comments I am expanding this a little...in The Lotterys Plus One by Emma Donoghue there was a person with the first name, I think, of Jensen which is my last name. They were mentioned twice. I've had a tough time finding a book so I'm going with it!

Seems there is a Nicole in F Scott Fitzgerald's Tender Is the Night which I may go back & read as well.

Spencer Forsyth | 11 comments Shannon. Anyone have suggestions for Shannon? I can't think of anything and Google didn't help.

message 12: by Laura (new)

Laura | 18 comments I read American Gods, since Shadow’s wife was Laura. The Blind Assassin by Atwood has a Laura character in it, too, but I decided to go with American Gods.
