ShoSho (shoshost) | 12263 comments I'm listening to Eldest (The Inheritance Cycle, #2) by Christopher Paolini I love this narrator.

I also started reading Shades of Twilight by Linda Howard , it's ... well ... horrible. It's not a bodice-ripper but the hero is appearing to be the ultimate ass*e! and the heroine is cringe worthy, a doormat and a pushover that has been in lurve with the hero all her life! eek let see how it goes ....

I don't love this series as much as Psy-changelings. But I'm still reading them.

I am glad I am not the only to dislike Dimitri., unfortunately the heroine Hope? Didn't appeal either. I have found this series is so much darker than Psy changeling,

I didn't find Hope appealing either. There were scenes I where I was uncomfortable. He would do something to hurt/scare her and she either apologized or brushed it off or consoled him, or something like that. It made me so angry! I wanted her to run as far away from him as she could.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 607 comments It was a lot of fun, but serious in parts too. I really like the series.

message 47: by lorii (Loriidae) (new)

lorii (Loriidae) I adore Laura Griffin, her Tracers series and her new Wolfe security one but I almost didn't finish One Last Breath (The Borderline #1) by Laura Griffin . It is an older book. The heroine is so TSTL, and the events and her actions so highly improbable, even for a romantic Suspense.

I have found this a bit lately. That an author's recent work is so much better than their backlist I guess it shows their development as a writer.

message 48: by Anita (new)
