This is starting out as a happy new year for you...CONGRATULATIONS!! Reading slumps can be the worst, Manda, I'm glad your reading is on on the up.
I just read the fourth book in the Bootleg Springs series, Bourbon Bliss and absolutely LOVED IT!! Thanks again for the rec, ladies. I even reached out to the authors to tell them how much I loved it.
I also read My Reckless Surrender by Anna Campbell. Geez, talk about sexy...it was humming from start to finish.
I'm listening to Captured by a Laird by Margaret Mallory, which I'm enjoying so far.
I have to go back to work next week so I'm trying to get in as much reading as I can.
HAPPY READING!!!

I'm back at work this week. boo.
but I at last managed to finish a book although it was a novella lol
I still have 4 books at 49% so i need to get going on finishing those lol
I read one and only by Viv Daniels when Sarina Bowen mentioned it and really liked it—it’s very like her writing. I also read the sequel sweet and wild which did not work as well for me. I actually liked the heroine of S&W more in O & O.
But the first book is great and I recommend it to you all.
Now I’m finishing Lies Sleeping by Aaronovitch. So far it’s a little too much one event after another with no narrative curve
Or much happening with the characters.

Awesome, Manda!
I just finished up with Fired Up by Riley Hart. Next up is Below The Belt by E. M. Lindsey.

The first two I rated 3 stars, and the third I rated 4 stars. I did enjoy the premise of the five guys who escaped execution by firing squad, who promised to try to redeem their misdeeds of their young lives, this taking place near the end of the Napoleonic Wars. At least one of the guys was a student at Westerfield Academy, which featured prominently in the "Lost Lords" series.

Interesting, Deb. I'll look out for this one.
Thanks for the well wishes, guys. So far so good!

So, I was looking at these books Deb and was wondering if I should give them a go. You say that her writing is like Sarina Bowen's? I may need to try her. I'm doing some re-reading of Elle Kennedy's off Campus series now. Kind of at a loss for what to read now.

Manda, do the books need to be read in order? Is it a series? I've never read Mira Lyn Kelly.
Yes, Irish, there are four books and they're best read in order.
May the Best Man Win
The Wedding Date Bargain
Just This Once
Decoy Date
I just finished the third book. Woot!

Oh and I really really liked Tikka Chance on Me by new to me author Suleikha Snyder.
I'll check out Mira Lynn Kelly and Viv Daniels soon :-)
