I finished The Boy Next Door by Meg Cabot on Saturday.

3 stars!

It is told through the format of email correspondence between our main character and the love interest and her friends. I think the format detracted from the book for me.

It was a cute contemporary romance. That being said, I think it was pretty cheesy and predictable. I enjoyed it, but don't really recommend it.

E.J. | 9 comments I finished P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sequel to the book and Netflix movie To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. I really am enjoying the light read. I wish she didn’t rush the ending and just to put it in a nice little bow. I will definitely read the last book of the trilogy.

D.Ann | 4 comments I finished up the very end of a cozy that I had not finished in December - A Little Taste of Murder by Carolyn L. Dean. And then I started a dystopian - Noah’s Ark by Andrew J. Morgan. I’m still reading that one.

5 Stars!!!

Keri Phillips | 164 comments I had 2 re-reads because I have the newer books in these series and wanted to catch up...
1. A Court of Thorns and Roses - still enjoyed it
2. Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow - I actually enjoyed it more the 2nd time. FABULOUS!!!

The other 4 were new ones...
1. The Christmas Sisters - This was just a sweet Holiday book that did have romance but was more about the relationships between these 3 sisters.
2. Believe Me - This one totally messed with my head. If you like psychological thrillers, I would recommend
3. My Plain Jane - This is a Young Adult and was absolutely hilarious... A quick light read.
4. Of Blood and Bone - Nora Roberts is just getting better. If you like her books, pick this series up. Seriously, her series get more intense and more involved every time. Loved this one.

Cole and Sav: Our Surprising Love Story

5 Stars!!

This is a nonfiction book about the love story between Cole Labrant and Savannah Soutas (Labrant). I've followed this coulple on youtube and just social media in general for quite a while and I love that they are such genuine people. I really enjoyed this book. If you aren't familiar with them at all, this isn't for you though. I imagine it would boring if you don't :)

Beauchamp Hall by Danielle Steel

Keri Phillips | 164 comments When the Lights Go Out

This was a really good mystery/suspense/psychological thriller book. I have to admit I guessed part of it in the first 10 chapters, but that's because of my background with medical stuff. It kinda proves that Kubica did her homework on this one. Unreliable narrator and I didn't expect the ending of Eden's story...

The Long Stitch Good Night by Amanda Lee

4 Stars!!

The 4th book in the Embroidery Mystery series. I think this one is my second favorite in the series, the first being my top pick.
This series is perfect for stitchers that enjoy cozy mystery novels!

The Snowman by Jo Nesbo!

4 Stars!

This book was turned into a movie last year or the year before. The movie was really good! But the book is just as good!!! It's different from the movie in a lot of ways! Highly recommend!

The Whispering Room by Dean Koontz
Part of the Jane Hawk series - really good!

Keri Phillips | 164 comments Finished Cottage by the Sea. I love a Debbie Macomber book. She based the idea for this book from the tragic landslide in 2014 that washed away over 40 homes and killed over 40 people. She is so good at writing relationships and people. I loved this one. Highly recommend.

I love Debbie Macomber as well! My first book that I read by her was Country Brides and it still one of my favorites. :) I reread it once a year :)

I haven't heard of this one I don't think. I'll have to read it :)

Keri Phillips | 164 comments Just finished In His Father's Footsteps by Danielle Steel. Wow. Just an epic family saga that starts at the liberation of a concentration camp in Germany and ends in New York. I can't say enough good things about this one. The characters of Jakob and Emmanuelle were so inspiring. How people can go through what they did and come out of it just amazes me. I used to love Danielle Steel books. Not really sure why I stopped picking them up, but this definitely makes me want to catch up :)

Teresa (sweettreads) | 82 comments Sorry I know I'm a bit late posting. I was only able to read two books this month because I was visiting my boyfriend for the most of it and I don't ever get much time to read when I'm with him. But here are the books I read! :

Dragon Bones by Patricia Briggs 3 stars
