I'm actually reading this for a topic way down the list, but I don't think it's a spoiler to post out of order - it's nonfiction!
I enjoyed this book a lot - it was an interesting and nonjudgemental look at a topic that's easy to get hyperbolic about - either from a positive or negative standpoint. Pollan manages to stay pretty centrist and settled, not adapting either a skeptic's view or an overly clinical view of the topic, which I think is how you have to explore this particular field.
I'm not sure if I'd recommend it unless you're already interested in the topic - but it is fascinating.
