Some of the books by David Gemmell does sound familiar but I'm not completely sure. The name Ananaïs does ring a bell aswell as Tenaka and Kiall. I will have to take a look, thank you.

So I just checked and you were right, it was of the Drenai books. Quest for lost heroes and the character with the lost nose was from The king Beyond the Gate. Thank you so much for the help! Much appreciated :)
Glad you found your book, Jacob. Here's the link for Courtney's find - The King Beyond the Gate by David Gemmell. The first book in the series is Legend.

Spoilers ahead I guess
At one point early into the book a boy/man is outside playing with a sword outside of a house and the other main characters are out doing something else.
While playing with the sword he accidentally slices an arrow that was flying towards him. After regaining his composure not knowing who had fired the arrow he said aloud that the ones who had fired it should come out from their hiding. Which they do. He invites them into the house for some soup because they looked like they were hungry. (I believe he referred them as thieves) They accept the invitation and eats some soup and then leaves.
One of the other main characters, a man had watched this encounter from afar and just watched them.
When the other main characters gets back to the house the man who had watched the encounter told them what happened and said he had never seen anything like it in his life.
One of the main characters (Not the one who sliced the arrow midair) is a son to this evil man and is a very skilled swordsman. He has a twin sister which marries the boy/man who sliced the arrow midair in the end of the book/series through a blood rite that is customary to their people because a normal wedding would take too long they believed.
Another character (I'm not even sure if this is the same book but I do believe it is) is a man who is best friend with the skilled swordsman. He wears a mask covering his face because his face had been completely ruined in an arena long ago. He had lost his nose and his face was filled with scars. The mask he weared had a nose because he was ashamed of not having one.
I'm sorry this is really vague but I don't remember much more about the book/series and I know that the chance of someone knowing what book I speak of is very small. But thank you for reading this and I would greatly appreciate any help I can get! :)
