What a wonderful gathering at Carmen’s overlooking the bright lights of Seattle. With a banquet of quiche and salad, we discussed “The Sleepwalker’s Guide to Dancing”. It had mixed reviews with some strong objections to the main character’s choice of subject matter for her photographs. Always a lively discussion! We missed you Karen and Margaret! I am hosting next month at Reen’s (who sported her new “hair”), and the book is: “Fredrick Douglass” by David Blight. He was the most famous 19th century American besides Abraham Lincoln. I spoke to a bookseller with Barnes and Noble, and she said it is “flying out the door”. It is long, read as much as you want/can. I am sure it will be interesting to discuss.
