Andrew Elphick (andrew84elphick) | 1 comments Hi all.

just curious if anybody has some good recommendations for some gritty books/series that are predominantly set in large cities with lower and upper class areas etc. it is fine if some POV’s are not set in said cities and if this is only part of a bigger story. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The Gutter Prayer takes place entirely in a city and is absolutely amazing.

Dave | 1 comments Brandon Sanderson's "Warbreaker" takes place in a large city for the bulk of the book. Brent Weeks Night Angel trilogy takes place in several different large cities.

Perdido Street Station is set in a really, really unique urban setting. Fantastic book, highly recommend it. It features really different areas populated by different races and classes.
