Kailee | 21 comments I'm excited to try and read 48 books off of my owned TBR! I have almost 150 that were acquired before this year, so I'm going to try and make a huge dent in those this year.

I finished this January 1st 2019. Oof this conclusion was a lot of emotions, I loved it so much!

A Kiss in the Dark by Gina Ciocca
Finished this on January 11th! After 3 of this author's books, I can't decide if I like them or not? I do think I liked this one the best. They're all very teen-angst and drama filled, which can get old pretty quickly. Overall, I liked it.

Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater.
Yay I'm so happy I finally continued on with this series! I finished it January 24th, and it took me a while to actually sit down and read it. I am so intrigued and confused and excited for the conclusion, hopefully that will be a little further down on this list.

Yes I'm so excited to read this! I finished this on January 25th and absolutely loved everything that happened. This was such a satisfying ending.

Welcome to the climbing crew! You're off to a good start!

Natália Lopes (silkcaramel) | 104 comments All amazing books! I'm finishing the Raven Boys quartet as well and while I started QoAaD in December, I stopped to finish the short stories from The Ghost of The Shadow Marker first and have yet to pick it up again. I have the Flame in The Mist duology lined up on my TBR this year and can't wait to get on with it because I love Ahdieh's writing and this one is all about Japanese mythology!

P.S. I Still Love You (To All the Boys I've Loved Before, #2) by Jenny Han
P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han
OOOh this was a roller coaster ride. I finished this February 5th. Even with all the drama happening, I really loved who Lara Jean became as a person during this story. Unfortunately, I thought the ending was a little rushed. Also, I am definitely a John Ambrose fan. Maybe not for Lara Jean, but in general that boy is my favorite.

The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater
Wow! I loved this conclusion so much. I think this might have been my favorite of the series? I love the revelations that happened, and I definitely cried at the end. I finished this on February 16th.

Kailee | 21 comments Book 7:
Sightwitch (The Witchlands, #2.5) by Susan Dennard
Sightwitch by Susan Dennard
Finished on February 26th! This is a decent length novella following Ryber, a side character in the main series, before the events of the first book. This book really serves to open up the world and reveal new information about the Witchlands. I am so excited to see where this series is going to go, and while Bloodwitch won't count for MountTBR I am still very excited to read it.

The Dinner by Herman Koch
The Dinner by Herman Koch
Finished on March 24. I started this last year, and got about halfway through before I stopped reading. This book was very interesting and engaging, and I would love to see what happened after it ended, even if that's the point of the book that we don't get to see.

Kailee | 21 comments Book 9:
These Vicious Masks (These Vicious Masks, #1) by Tarun Shanker
These Vicious Masks by Tarun Shanker and Kelly Zekas
Finished on March 25. Overall a very interesting start to a historical paranormal series, which is a genre I've discovered I very much enjoy!

Kailee | 21 comments Book 10:
Trylle The Complete Trilogy (Trylle, #1-3) by Amanda Hocking
Trylle: The Complete Trilogy by Amanda Hocking
Finished on March 25. I am actually pretty shocked at how much I enjoyed this novel! Or, this trilogy of novels. They are definitely a little young YA, but they still had moments where I was completely shocked by the turn of events. And I fled through this trilogy in a couple days, even with the large page count.

Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6) by Richelle Mead
Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead
This was finished on March 25! This was a great series end, I appreciated how everything was wrapped up.

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
Finished on March 27th. I see why this book is so beloved! The emotion that came across made it so tender and real, and hit me in all of my feels!

Kailee | 21 comments Book 13:
Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
Finished on March 27th. This book spoke to all of my deep anxieties, and felt so authentic in its portrayal of OCD. There isn't a huge plot, but it seems to mirror the way OCD can derail thought processes.

Kailee | 21 comments Book 14:
Frostfire (Kanin Chronicles, #1) by Amanda Hocking
Frostfire by Amanda Hocking
Finished on March 28. After finishing the Trylle trilogy, I decided to continue with the spin-off series. I enjoyed this one about the same, not anything super spectacular but particularly surprising with how much I enjoyed it.

Kailee | 21 comments Book 15:
These Ruthless Deeds (These Vicious Masks, #2) by Tarun Shanker
These Ruthless Deeds by Tarun Shanker and Kelly Zekas
Finished on March 30th. The ending of the last book was so unexpected, I couldn't wait to continue with this surprisingly enjoyable series!

Kailee | 21 comments Book 16:
Ice Kissed (Kanin Chronicles, #2) by Amanda Hocking
Ice Kissed by Amanda Hocking
Finished on April 6th. The sequel was a little bit of a disappointment, I still enjoy the series and the ending made me gasp, but I felt overall the plot was meandering when moving between the different kingdoms.

Kailee | 21 comments Book 17:
Love, Lucy by April Lindner
Love, Lucy by April Lindner
Finished on April 11th. Oh, no. This book was not for me. The beginning wasn't terrible, but I ended up absolutely hating all of the main characters for their decision to cheat with absolutely no consequences or major issues, because it doesn't matter as long as the main character ends up with her true love, right? Ugh.

Kailee | 21 comments Book 18:
Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton
Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton
Finished on April 19th. This was a book club read for me, so I think I enjoyed it a lot more because of the experience of reading it with others. Either way, I loved this rumination on life and what it is important, set in the backdrop of space travel.

Kailee | 21 comments Book 19:
Dividing Eden (Dividing Eden, #1) by Joelle Charbonneau
Dividing Eden by Joelle Charbonneau
Finished on May 14th. I do kind of regret buying this one last year, because although I enjoyed reading it and do want to read the sequel, it wasn't super memorable and I would have rather gotten it from the library.
