How about The Wizard and the Prophet: Two Remarkable Scientists and Their Dueling Visions to Shape Tomorrow's World? I haven't read it, but David, my co-moderator has, and it sounds interesting.

Oh, that one is just fascinating. I think I gave it 5 stars. Very good.
