K.A. Krisko (kakrisko) | 1297 comments I've started watching this series on Netflix. So far it seems to be pretty thorough, but I can only take so much of it at once because they're playing a LOT of the tapes. Not a knock on the series in any way, but I just can't stand to listen to him for too long. It's less a matter of being creeped out and more that he makes me tense & angry. The lies just drip from every sentence like putrefying molasses.

Caitlin (cmmcgee_writer92) | 210 comments I think I spent half the time watching it yelling at the TV for him to shut up lol

Erin | 376 comments I watched it yesterday. I'd just finished the book. I don't find him creepy, he was a stupid, insecure loser who killed the type of women who rejected him.

I also don't see why people find him handsome.

Fishface | 18801 comments I saw just a few minutes of the Bundy tapes in a criminology class, back when flocks of pterodactyl darkened the skies, and I thought he just talked and talked and talked without saying much of anything. He really did miss his calling as a lawyer!

Kristin (savannahjan) | 62 comments I’m curious if this added anything to the story. We have a LOT of Bundy content. Is this just more of the same? Is it really all different? Or is it essentially the same stuff we TC-obsessed people already know? Well, us older ones since I assume the young TC people aren’t as well-versed, in general.

Netflix is becoming such a great place for true crime lately. I'm really excited about all the new content.
Regarding the Bundy documentary, it was interesting and very detailed, although I am not sure it has any new details for the TCist who already know the story. The editing was a bit annoying sometimes but maybe that's just me being old.

There are almost too many choices.

Rita (crimesleuthjunkie) | 1146 comments I read a few books about Bundy as well but don't fancy to listen to his droning on and on and on. I am not really interested in listening to him all over again.

For me, it's usually the opposite. I am not that interested in the act itself but more in the motive and mind, and that's why listening to him in his own words was very interesting to me. Even his lack of insight at some points is sort of an insight.

I always am fascinated about the mind especially and the motive too. Is there something that happens early in life that triggers this behaviour? Some of these killers will take it to their grave but others like Bundy enjoy listening to themselves.

Fishface | 18801 comments I could kick the shins of all the ones who take their secrets to the grave. I'm looking at you, Patrick WAYNE Kearney!
