Henry Sturcke | 455 comments Among the many listings of Joseph Conrad’s Lord Jim, there are four iterations of the Modern Library 1931 edition. Could these be combined?
They are:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... (This one and the next one have a good book description)
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

Two of them have the same dust jacket, one has no cover image, and the fourth has a different dust jacket (from the style, it looks like one that would have been used in 1931). I suppose this could to be an alternate cover edition.

I see a discrepancy in the page count. In my copy of the 1931 Modern Library, the text of the novel has 417 pages. The introduction is numbered v-vii, and Conrad’s author’s note begins on an unnumbered page, then runs to viii and ix (!).
