Marilyn Cook (cookyslady) | 1 comments * * * Toddler’s Rhyming Teddy Bear Picture Book * * *

I have written a children’s picture book, 48 pages of rhyme with beautiful illustrations in dazzling colour about 12 teddy bears that I lovingly made with my crochet hook. I have given them personalities, magic powers too and brought them to life in my first book called ‘Meet the Jolly Jangles’, just great for toddlers. I am launching my book on April 16th and am trying to get as many likes and shares as possible, please can you help me get my book out there?

Here is a link to their Facebook page:-

If you have time to review the book please let me know, I would love to hear from you :)

Thank you,

Lloyd Free | 16 comments Can you really ignore this? And How about a review? Thank you to the lucky ones.
How can you pass up adventure, romance, erotica, unforgettable characters, events torn from history, and it’s free for five days only?
• Romantic Fiction that brings history to life
• Despite the fact that the heart of the book is Renny's poignant love story, the book remains subtle in its sentimentality and impresses the reader with its reflective depth.
THE PRAIRIES BOOK REVIEW

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Entertaining! Escape!

Need a book to take your mind off today's reality? Escape to France with two college students who spice up the learning experience with wine, women and, in the process, learn more about life than they could hope to at UC Berkeley where the story begins. A real treat for readers who wish to revisit San Francisco in the 60's, the beatnik era, and Francophiles alike. Renny and Max discover new friends and adventures as they grow up in France, learning some memorable lessons, some pleasurable and some painful, but all exciting.

Cathy Turney

5.0 out of 5 stars The Juice is Worth the Squeeze

In the Spirit of "On the Road", "Bittersweet" is an account of a youthful odyssey of innocence, inexperience, and adventure. Dr. Free guides the reader through the physical and social landscape of the genre with vivid descriptions of the travels and experiences of Renny and his circle of friends. It's very touching and entertaining story with a historic perspective.
It's a smooth and easy read .that will unfold a warm story that may seem intimately familiar to your own. I expect that you will enjoy the ride.

Vladimir Pishchalnikov | 2 comments I would like a review of my book The October Amaryllis. Here is the summary for it.

Clive Andrews is a typical 16-year-old boy who never had anything out of the ordinary happen until May 16th, 2020, when he was struck by several feet of ball lightning and nearly killed. After being discharged from the hospital, he realizes that he now possesses an unusual ability; he can travel time. Losing his dad a year ago to cancer, he decides to bring him back by finding a cure from the future. But everything has a cost and time travel has many. Will it all be worth the struggle, or will Clive discover something even more sinister? Only time will tell, and he hasn't got much of it.

You can read it for free here.

Timothy Andrew Mitchell | 27 comments Hey, all. New guy here. I guess this is where I'm supposed to be. One never knows for sure. Anyway. First-time author with a story to tell, so here's the rub. Next week, to coincide with my fortfiftyish birthday, I’ll be running a free Kindle/eBook promotion on Amazon for the first book in my Amalrok series. While reviews of all kinds are greatly appreciated, please don’t feel obligated in any way. Just enjoy the book. Stay tuned for details. Thanks!

A rather ambitious prequel to mankind on Earth, this epic series takes place on Mars long, long ago. Led by a stern priest, a motley company of adventurers take up a quest to save the world in the last days of the doomed planet. Fans of classic sword-and-sorcery fantasy will find the setting familiar, while the rich characters and engaging storylines will keep even the casual reader hooked and turning pages. Or so I’ve been told. By friends. So, I guess we’ll see. Anyway. Enjoy.

K.K. Edwards | 11 comments Hi everybody. I'm looking for reviews for my novella SOMEBODY KNOWS SOMETHING, t/b launched as an e-book on Jan. 26, 2022.

https://www.indienovella.co.uk/produc...

SOMEBODY is about two strangers drawn to the tragic story of six y/o Olive Copely, who disappeared from in front of her house twenty years before. Ginger is compelled to uncover the truth about what happened to Olive. Dan was there that day. He knows the truth but he can't bear to admit it, even though it's tearing him apart--

My publisher calls it 'gripping'. For me, 'devastating' comes to mind and I wrote the dang thing. :) It's a fast read and a good read, perfect for reviewers who love thrillers and may have an hour or so to spare.

Thank you so much, you guys.

K.K. Edwards

Alex Vogel (alex_vogel) | 1 comments Hi everyone,

I'm Alex, the author of 'Four Darks', a gay-themed contemporary/literary (and explicit) coming-of-age novel.
The Paperback edition is out now. The ebook is available for free via Kindle Unlimited. Reviews very welcome.

Four Darks by Alex Vogel

A cruel father, a twisted affair with an older man, and a mysteriously missing mother send sixteen-year-old Jack on a fateful journey exploring obsession, the will to survive and the desperate wish to belong.

On his birthday, in an effort to escape his sadistic father, Jack wanders frozen London—and encounters an intriguing stranger. The man feels like the perfect present, a glimmer of hope at just the right time. But as he falls for the much older James, a toxic game of courtship and rejection plunges Jack down an unsettling path...

"Captivating, Powerful, Emotional, and Beautiful."
Amazon Review

"The story is gripping, disturbing, and heartbreaking and at the same time it leaves the reader inspired by Jack’s perseverance. The book evokes a tremendous amount of emotion and deals with some weighty topics but left me with a sense of utter hopefulness. The characters are diverse, compelling, flawed and utterly human. The author leads us on an experience that delves into abuse, longing, desperation, cruelty, identity, and fate. And he does so with humor, a touch of sexiness, and compassion."

Gregory Ulseth | 3 comments Hey all!

I'm about halfway through drafting the sequel to my book, "We Have A Plan," a dystopian set in 2100s America where the government has truly become tyrannical.

Im absolutely able to provide an ebook for any interested reviewers or, if preferred, I can work something out for a hard copy.

The mission was to salvage the society we once held dear and eliminate religious and underclass oppression. The plan was to build strength through the subterranean network of outlawed religious institutions and high-tech paramilitary powers to infiltrate and to gather assets along the way. Charlie was one such asset groomed from birth to help these Revolutionaries.

Charlie Prescott, a teenager born into an influential family in early 22nd-century America, is forced to grow up fast when he is thrust into a chaotic war. His life of luxury is turned upside down when he learns about the events of the Great Nuclear War and the regional governments. The underground culture he grew up with becomes his strength as he fights for liberty and freedom on the front lines of the war on the southern border. Along the way, he meets a team of unique individuals who become his new family. One thing is certain, though: Charlie must not give up on any part of his family or his faith.

Shawn McCarthy | 1 comments Proud to have written the final book of my series, The Puzzle Box Chronicles. I'd love reviews. Heck, I'd love reviews for the whole series, but I'm not going to spam you. ;)

(Hmm.. it's telling me links aren't allowed, even though I see other links here. Oh well. Message me and I'll send a link. Or a book or pdf. )

In the autumn of 1891, four lives are on an intersecting course, and the results could be deadly.
After being swept away by a flood, Amanda Grant tries to find shelter in a strange wilderness. She is offered refuge in a place called Angel Falls. But the dream-like landscape is not what it seems.
Union organizer Jeb Thomas is floundering. He is on a cross-country quest to find Amanda, who broke off their relationship. But when he can't find her, he tries instead to locate the valuable puzzle box she left behind in Boston.
Former Confederate soldier Devlin Richards knows Amanda's puzzle box was originally owned by a scientist named Victor Marius. He believes Victor hid valuable items inside the box. Devlin is willing to kill to obtain it. His uneasy alliance with Jeb will only survive long enough for the two of them to track down the mysterious container.
Meanwhile, Victor, a brilliant but troubled scientist, has no idea the wooden box he originally lost at sea has been found. Victor has reluctantly abandoned his scientific research. Instead, he works as an electric lineman and part-time police officer. But those are choices that may lead him toward tragedy.
The Beckoning Spark is the final volume of the sprawling six-volume Puzzle Box Chronicles, set in a time when new technologies and rapid social change are helping alter the very nature of the American Landscape.

Jason Merchey | 3 comments I'm willing to give away a free e-book or print book(if preferred) to someone willing to give an honest book review on Amazon and/or Goodreads. Here is the summary of the book:

"Philos sophia" is ancient Greek for the love of wisdom, and is the precursor of modern philosophy and psychology. As a "lover of wisdom," author Jason Merchey brings a refreshing array of insightful and interesting quotations (and personal reflections) to this deep and wide investigation into the nature of wisdom.

No one can thoroughly and completely manifest wisdom, but clearly a person who has a better understanding of and appreciation for the fascinating phenomenon will perceive their world as less complex, more fulfilling, and easier to navigate. Furthermore, in momentous political and social times such as we are living, there is no better tool for individuals, communities, and society to make progress than wisdom.

Blending philosophy and neuroscience, psychology and personal growth, this substantial read brings great thinking to life. The interesting research findings, unique personal perspectives, and compelling quotes in this book have the potential to assist an earnest reader in making wisdom their greatest strength. Anyone aiming to build a life of value -- one of purpose and happiness -- should consider wisdom to be their blueprint for success.
